For real navigation this would be more realistic:
to proceed from one relative position to another on a specified course, a specified speed for a specified time. And not proceed from point A in the world to point B in the world. That is cheating! Expl: u-boat is on course 205° true. The helmsman is ordered to steer course 182° using a speed of 12 knots en route, for 3 hrs 20 minutes. Then he is ordered to steer a course of 205, speed 11 knots for 4 hrs 11 minutes etc. etc.
