I said in my James Bond thread that Never Say Never Again was hanging out with Moonraker as the two worst bond films, IMHO.

One does not simply remake Thunderball and get away with it.

Ok, so James Bond does not really have its own "style".
I mean, Bond movies have been everything from blackploitation to science fiction.

Now if we say that Quantum of Solace is James Bond's "reaction" to Jason Bourne, and Moonraker is a Star Wars influenced film, than Never Say Never Again is James Bond's version of Mr. Bean, or the Pink Panther.

And you know what? James Bond doing comedy is better than James Bond in space, by far.
