That can't be English food, it's too colorful and has distinctly fresh looking greenery on top.

Tikka is a mild form of indian Curry, we Brits think its a proper indian dish, but in fact, most in India dont know what the hell a Tikka is, because it was invented by indian immigrants for the british who found most of the traditional curries too spicy (at the time of introduction around the 50s and 60s, we are more acustomed to it now)
That and most of India's population are not big meat eaters, partly out of relegious principles and poverty in some parts, but also because their veggie dishes are a damn sight tastier than most.

I used to live behind an Indian restaurant and had to walk by it everyday! Talk about torture! Their BBQ chicken was the best. They also had imported their baking ovens for their bread. I don't remember the name, but it is flat bread with garlic butter.

In England that should be.............

"distinctly fresh looking Shrubbery on top."

*image of pure evil and lair of the soulless beans*
How very dare you good sir! Little chef is not British cuisine. Little Chef is a theatre of despair and torment. Anything that pleads to be eaten to be put out of it's misery cannot be called "cuisine". I have felt it's icy soul eating touch on many a long journey, and many a time has the princess of the congealed bean kingdom called out to me. I have stood my ground though and only had the small brown cups of mud, otherwise known as coffee. Oh and once I ate a lasagne that didn't agree with me, it said many anti Semitic things and wanted to legalise paedophilia.
It didn't even moan about the prices, or even the local bus service. How can this filth be British if it doesn't even pass the simple test of being British?
And I do say, you have been thoroughly reprimanded good sir, good day to you!
*sips tea*

I'm not helping our international image here really...

[QUOTE=nikimcbee;1777431]

Now, I could see Australia eating this, as they are a penal colony, maybe Scotland

[\QUOTE]
Scotland, maybe. Australia has taste buds, unlike our Nessie spotting cousins
