It can thus be interpreted as that the film is worth seeing,

Colin Firth was good but I thought Geoffrey Rush who played as Lionel Logue did very well, though Colin having to stutter wouldn't of been easy. Nice how at the end they stated how the king and Lionel were friends for life and he gave him a title if I remember correct. Did Geoffrey win an award at the academy?

[edit] Another cool connection along those lines: The Archbishop is nicely played by Derek Jacobi, who 30+ years ago did his own share of stuttering (and limping and twitching) in I, Claudius.

Time, yes, it sounded a bit sarcastic it there, but if the movie is good then I take the time needed ... The only downside is that there will be less honest posts here, a double-edged problem,

The movie is actually quite good. Solid acting. As Jim said, Firth deserves the international recognition.
But help me out here! I've got two DVD's here, and I can't decide which one to watch (seen them both already, but still can't decide) so I leave it up to you: what movie am I going to watch: Wag the dog or Frost / Nixon? (I'm kinda in a political mood I guess ![]()

Just watched it last week, and I agree. A great film.

Okay, I'm pressing play right now. They're both great, but Wag the Dog touches on some current affairs (if you're inclined to believe all the new conspiracy theories
