I'm a stutterer. it really pisses me off at times the frustration of trying to say something and just not being able to. so i know what the king went trough, my respects to him

Colin Firth was good but I thought Geoffrey Rush who played as Lionel Logue did very well, though Colin having to stutter wouldn't of been easy. Nice how at the end they stated how the king and Lionel were friends for life and he gave him a title if I remember correct. Did Geoffrey win an award at the academy?

Have you had to make a speech in front of thousands of people, or on the radio knowing that millions were hanging on your every word? I sympathize with your plight, but if you haven't seen this you need to.

[edit] Another cool connection along those lines: The Archbishop is nicely played by Derek Jacobi, who 30+ years ago did his own share of stuttering (and limping and twitching) in I, Claudius.
