yeh i downloaded that pdf...and actully i would have been completly confused after reading it...Stons video was alot more informative. But either way that doesnt answer my question as far as when do i know to subtract or not subtract from 360...

in alot of his movies he just moves the compass out to the bearing they guy tells him...another words sonar says bearing 56 degrees....so he moves a line out on the 56 degree bearing...

but in this new tutorial they say bearing 286 degrees so he actully subtracts that from 360 then moves it out 110 degrees....

i believe this is because its a number bigger then 180...so i was asking if its bigger then 180 is that how i know that i have to subtract it from 360?
