called the court to set up an appearance date, and i was informed that if they received a photograph that showed a front license plate on the vehicle there would be a no need for an appearance and the ticket would be dismissed.

so...

1. I promptly took a picture of the front and rear of my car that evening.

2. I loaded up microsoft paint

3. I copied the license plate from the image of the back of the car

4. I pasted the license plate onto the front of the car

5. printed the resulting image and faxed it to the court

ticket dismissed!

My coworker will not put the plate on the front of his either. Said he would prefer the ticket. Hates to have a tag on the front of his car. Truly though, the tag on the nose of the Firefird looks ugly.

not only that but if memory serves correctly, you have to get the dealer to order you a front license plate mounting kit.

this removes the flaming chicken emblem and replaces it with a little boxy frame you attach your license plate to.

I'm sure the cost of this kit is probably more than the cost of the ticket.

just traded my 2007 Charger...kind of missing it already, since my commute vehicle became my wife's Hyundai

worst one I miss....1987 Jeep Grand Cherokee....white, beige leather...bit bigger tires nothing major...it'd go anywhere and it did alot of things...

This was the first Pengu-mobile, an 1988 Opel Corsa (mine was white):

I had to sell my beloved 1980 Yamaha XT for it , I needed a ride for the wintertime and my new job had a longer commute. I couldn't afford them both She was painted all in black, I still miss her.

yeah, most people grouped them with the sidekick and RAV4 type vehicles. The Amigo's were more like a hard top jeep. Huge tires, Wide and short wheel base, good mileage, strong engine (I recall mine being a 3.0 4 cyl, which is huge).

Oh yes roger that. The hood emblem...I recognized it but could not put my finger on who it was manufactured by. We had a similar car built by Renault here in the states. Just very familiar to me.
