Sure you can...Israel proved many times that it is wiling to give up settelments for secure peace.
Gaza is good example of how Israel got screwed up in that department.
Do you even remember that Israel abandoned many settlements around Gaza and turned the land over to Palestinians ?
What came out of this is-hammas and rocket bombing on Israeli towns.

Now bombing hammas and killing terrorist is war crime.
