I will try to take files from Russian version 1.2 and to collect the patch, but it long enough. I will lay out tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

leftydad is correct, sh3 and 4 had as many bugs when released. Everyone now conveniently forgets about friendly escorts shooting each other, ships capsizing or sinking for no reasons, ships running aground, etc, etc.

just this weekend in SH4, I saw 2 IJN DDs blow themselves up with their own DCs:

...certainly simplifies your task when you are trying to escape...

So the last info from the devs about the 2nd week of may is still "hopeable"

Default Updates please!

I don't mind waiting for a patch, but at least provide updates that tell us what is going on.

Ubisoft-de is a subdomain of the domain www.custhelp.com registered to "Right Now Technologies, Inc" a provider of cloud computing for customers support services

Many companies host their support service sites as subdomains on custhelp.com

Well at least Olaf makes good coffee. Too bad that wont be in a patch. Anyway, while waiting for my coffee, I was talking to Olaf, and I asked him if he was ready for this Patch, and he replied that he was born ready, gamers have suffered long enough, time gamers bite back. I thought this was funny. I went to youtube and played this, while in the galley waiting for my coffee. This: and waited a minute, and Olaf became the dancing cook. Hope you enjoy that. PS minimize youtube while in game, in the galley, watch Olaf for a minute.

It's almost the second week in May and still no news about the patch.

Not even a "patch is being worked on and is going well, should be released next week".

Will the patch ever get released?

The total lack of communication is really bad. You would have thought that Ubi would atleast give us regular updates on what is happening with the patch. Especialy considering that they said it was going to be released 12 April and then the 20 April.

I want to play this game!!! but am not able to play it as i would like... e.g. 100 % realism campaign ( dead is dead), but the bugs make it imposible to play like this. And would there be any point playing the campaign with the patch hopefully being released soon?

Guess i'll just have to keep hoping that the patch will be released soon.

As far as I have had experiences with UBI there is no real game support/patch when they have released a game unless they are threatened by their customers who want to get their money back and so are forced to react.
Waiting indefinitely and doing nothing is their favourite job when they have spit out their latest crap project.
They just go on to the next project and don't "waste" any ressources on their already released games.

In case of the SH series I think they just wait for the modding community to do their job. And look around at all those awful mods (thanks everyone for this)...it works!

Unfortunately it seems they aren't changing this with SH5.

But that was the last time I made the mistake of buying an UBI product.
