No this has not been fixed.

And I still have nobody at my dive planes stations. Is everyone else getting this issue as I don't see many people talking about it? Seems a big issue to me that these are missing and even bigger that they couldn't even fix a simple problem like this in the recent patch!!

that is a strange issue, sometimes they are there, sometimes they aren't and I can't figure out what causes them to appear.

example:

could it be maybe from alt-tabbing ? i know in SH3 and SH4 i had sound/gfx issues if i had alt-tabbed while playing, like i would ALWAYS hear the engines no matter what, the stupid deck-watch crew would still remain even when i would dive, and so on.... (although i guess this has nothing to do with alt-tabbing)

Ubi is far from perfect, but the Vista/Win 7 issues are not on them. No game should be installed into Program Files with these operating systems, especially ones that you expect to mod or patch often. You are just asking for trouble.

That is why most games, SH5 included, no longer default to the Program Files folder when installing. If you re-direct it there.. well I don't think that is Ubi's fault.

There are many worthy things to bash Ubi on lol, but this one is all Microsoft.
I would agree with this, except for the fact that THIS HAS BEEN THE CASE SINCE VISTA WAS RELEASED MORE THAN TWO YEARS AGO!

Windows provides easy ways for programs to write per user and per machine data to the right place. The fact that more than two years later newly developed programs still aren't doing this is an epic fail on the part of game developers.

RE: Dive Plane Men

ok seems like they are appearing.

Whenever I go to periscope depth or dive etc.. they appear. But its not instant. It can sometimes be 15-20m before they appear. Just a timing issue I think.

It's my understanding the the planesmen's surface station was as bridge watch. They're on the bridge when surfaced, at the planes when submerged.

yes, they are not there when surfaced. They do not appear right away when you dive, but will appear eventually.

maybe they have to take a bathroom break and go to the Head before they switch station. Since there is only one, there must be a long line up..

What is this? Do you have to purchase missions? With what? Renown?

Captain: "Why are we plunging out of control?"

Chief: "Sorry, Herr Kaleun, but the planesmen are all in the line for the head."

And they wonder why they lost so many u-boats...
