In the only test I did on this, there was no difference. However, I only tested it once. Also, again with very limited testing, I could see no difference between the officer having the qualification and the NCO. If the NCO had more than one qualification, it appeared that only the first one worked.
Again, I have done only very limited testing on this question.

Yes, I wouldn't put them in the same compartment with a medic unless they were extremely wounded otherwise they will recieve the Wounded Badge, in most cases I haven't had any wounded or dead on the U-93. They will never get me!

In real life there was a medic on board but this was no doctor, more a male nurse. He could take care of small wounds, set broken bones and the like but he could not perform surgery (like when one was hit by shrapnel or bullets). I have noticed that if crew-members get wounded that they sometimes heal and other times don't heal when put together with a medic. It seems to depend how badly wounded they are.

my flak gunner earned the wound badge along with his Iron cross for shooting down a twin engined jobbie that was attacking us, he took a round in the process and he made it back alive.
he's back onboard now gunning away happily on his zweiling.

the fatigue is a big issue with my lot especially in critical situations they wont do anything

I have wounded fellows all the time. My watchmen, deck and flakgunners get always injured. I have crazy style to surface in the middle of enemy destroyers. :rotfl: But more likely they get killed right away.
I have 2 medics usually onboard.

IMHO the advantage of having a medic or a PO aboard with the qualification ingame is negligible....I prefer to have an additional torpedo or engineer guy.

That's right; the medic is an unfinished portion of the game, never really implemented.

My Flak Gunners and Medic have a great deal in common.
I keep both on board, and have never had to use either.
