As Jimbuna pointed out, the easiest solution is to edit the CrashDepth in the sub file.

I used to amend mine to 25m.

Peter Cremer in U333 said the test in the baltic was to get to 20-25m in around 25 seconds.

As has also been stated, DO NOT interrupt crash dive until it has finished i.e. levelled out at the pre-set depth (default 70m). Doing so can have some screwy effects.
