Yesterday's Canada - Finland was imho far by the most entertaining match in this tournament so far. It was great to watch two teams attack aggressively and drive home tackle after tackle. The score being pretty close all the time also had the effect that neither team could really afford to chill out, so the pace was kept nicely until the end. Judging by what I've gathered from a few different interviews the players enjoyed it too. At least Hannes Hyvönen said "It was great to finally play some real hockey"

The end result was a bit of a let down after such a great game, but certainly not a shame. The shootout was just what you'd expecet from a game like this, even if I rofled pretty hard when they put Ruutu on the ice, not just once but THREE TIMES The guy isn't certainly known for his puck handling skills, but did a great job nevertheless.

In the end it doesn't matter whether it's USA or Latvia. You'd had to win both anyway to take the title.
