Everybody has their moments. This was one of mine.

The minimalist best would have been "I wish the ship could have been saved too", but everyone feels that way, which is why we have the phrase "that goes without saying."

I know now what I should've said but at this point it's done.

Just have to turn the page and move on and try to do better.
