Your comment, however, were a bit unnecessary because you misunderstood Jim's comment. He said that it was a good outcome. Outcome, implying that he was talking about the response that happened AFTER the boat's sinking was inevitable, and not the event as a whole.

You of course know that now and everything, but don't jump at something without understanding it thoroughly first. That's how arguments that shouldn't happen in the first place start.
Think before I post....Got it.

The past two days...I think I just need a good punch in the face.

So you need some sort of special radio to listen...

All the cool things are just out of reach.

No, you've said several times in the last few days that you don't care what people think.

No, this one thing just set me off.

Yes, it's great that the crew was recovered alive...but it would've been much better if a boat didn't sink and people's lives weren't put in danger.
Ships sink. Planes crash. Cars crash. Fires happen. Buildings collapse. It's a fact of life. When it does happen the best possible outcome is that the lives can be saved. When everyone gets out alive it's a good day.

I know I've apologized many times before and I probably will apologize many more times throughout my lifetime. This is yet another example of how I didn't think before I posted.
It's not that. You've insisted a couple of times recently that you're no longer a kid. This seemed particularly childish to me.

If I had elaborated a bit and thought about the post it would've come out different.
The minimalist best would have been "I wish the ship could have been saved too", but everyone feels that way, which is why we have the phrase "that goes without saying."

Everybody has their moments. This was one of mine.

I know now what I should've said but at this point it's done.

Just have to turn the page and move on and try to do better.

So I like Camaros and Mustang....

It isn't my fault that your country uses the Metric System for gas.

Calm down everybody. I don't want this to start a new argument.

I see that you've calmed down Steve. The argument has come and gone. Betonov is just a bit late to the party.
