I agree. I remember Panzer Commander had a static screen. Nothing extravagant, but better than nothing.

Maybe even have the option to show (some) of the awards as ribbon bars instead of badges.

Kinda hard to explain exactly, but it would show your progression in a different way I think, rather than a wooden box with cut-outs waiting to be filled in.

I agree. I actually built a prototype of this in SH3Cmdr, where when the user selects the Crew Manager screen they get a bust of each crewmen with rank/medals/badges/quals mounted. Unfortunately, I couldn't get an artist with free time to help finish it.

Again, another feature that fell by the wayside in SH3Cmdr through lack of help, but one that I'd love to see in SH5.
