Fifi, if you have the time, have a look at the T1 torp.
For me it has no trail of bubbles on its run to target. |

Yes done, but seems impossible to solve!
Get red warning: this application has been blocked... Tried everything found on the web without success! Disabled the UAC via control panel, plus via the registry —-> doesn’t work. Disabled my firewall to no avail. Don’t have antivirus activated. Even reinstalled SH4 from discs...no result, always the red panel! Think I’ll give up ![]()

go to your SH4 icon on the desktop or the SH4.exe in the folder, whichever you use to launch SH4. r-click and go to the Compatibility Tab. you probably have it set to XP or Vista. either eliminate the value or change it to Win7. save and exit. re-launch SH4 using the same object. good luck! ![]()

Tried new short cut elevated without success...even Wineamo doesn’t help!
Now the app doesn’t show the red window, but nothing starts at all. My SH3 Ccom12 and NYGM are running fine though ![]()

Try overriding the DPI scaling. That is what fixed it for me. I also put the compatibility mode to Windows 7.
Assuming that you know how to override it.

just this week i encountered the same issue with an installation of SH4 that i have not used since i upgraded to Win10 last autumn. i was stumped for three days. then, on a whim, i changed the compatibility from XP to Win7 with DPI scaling and, voila, it worked. that should not have made a difference but it's Microsoft, so there you go. ![]() i will think on this issue some more. We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Silent Hunter 4, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender! ![]()
