Okay.. then I try to ask in different words :)
Where in the HUD are these lines using?

EDIT: and in another words :), where I can see them on the screen..

because I still have no clue how translate them :hmmm:

Hey mate...

if you let the dials slide in and you Switch from compass to rudder there is a red line in the dial below the Center...there is a Highlight to click to set rudder amidship....

About your RPM Hydrophon mod, i think you took the whole mod from Macardigan inside yours?
So we can delete his mod and take yours in replacement? (his last version v2.2)

Yes that is right bevause i had to rename the Charts and put them in single mod Folders to have the choise of the merchant Charts in the common language...

at the Moment it is a stand alone...because i want it to be tested first that the Charts are only apearing in the hydrophon Station...after that it will be included..in the main mod magui v3.03 with all the improvements...

PS: The hydrophone station with RPM charts is working great.

What does it do, is it possible to do the changes manually? I've read sth about xml-data...
Or somebody could change the files according to my mod-compilation (schleichfahrt) and upload the new ones? :)

I would love to use the recognition manual or to get information about my boat in the left bottom frame :/

It's working fine with the .NET Fr-work 4.0..

So 4.0 -> 4.5 ?

At first.. have you enabled .NET Fr-work 3.5? this version included in the Win7 and must be enabled..

I have updated English and French menu for latest Magui Interface Patch V3.02 + new TDW generic patcher v1.0.127.0 (giving new entry for max depth in message box)

English menu (activate after Parts Magui V3.01 and patch V3.02):

No, in the MODS folder of RPM Hydrophon for Magui V3.02, pickup the one you want for your language, and activate after :up:

After the activation of this mod the folders apear in your mods folder to choose the language you prefer for the merchant chart and activate it

Ahh...when you extract directly in your SH5 MODS folder!
But i never extract directly...always on desktop first, and then after checking all files, i cut/past in my SH5 MODS folder :)

I enabled .NET framework 3.5.1, but nothing changed. SH5Schiffe.exe still crashes.
With installed .NET framework 4.5 I got same results.
I've disabled UAC, but I can't imagine, that activating it again would make any difference :(

God, this is weird :hmmm:
Maybe you can run your msconfig (in windows start menu type msconfig) and in tool tab, then event observer line, see what's wrong when you last ran the SH5Shiffe.exe...it should tell you the exact faulting process when it crashed :yep:

Otherwise, i don't see other than redownload mod, and extract only with 7Zip...

I downloaded with JDownloader and with FireFox, I always use 7-Zip.
The new Download 5mins ago didn't make any difference, always the pop-up: "SH5Schiffe funktioniert nicht mehr"

The Debug-attempt with msconfig-tool eventvwr.exe gives no additional information: defective Application = SH5Schiffe.exe, defective module = unknown, source = application error.

Up to now I didn't have problems like that with my current system, so I'm quite clueless why this .exe doesn't work :(
Why me??? :D

Any idea?

It's hard to say..
Just one thought, as far as I know/remember Schleichfahrt was made/built/compiled by Uekel for work with the CSP Magui v2.0.. and I don't know anyone who use it successfully with the Parts Magui v3.0..

Have you tried downloading with Internet Explorer?

Still - I think there are conflicts between Schleichfahrt and Parts Magui when it comes to sounds and even to the structure of these mods

I haven't tested this for some time now but it would be interesting to note in detail what conflicts JSGME find during activation
So, do you know if slaughta has tested to activate the Parts Magui only? :hmm2:

can u make the Attack periscope TDC to hide something like the Obs periscope ?

now about the automation: if u make it to search in zig-zag make it pls something like trevally one surface travel for 90min then dive to 30m and search for contact no contact surface and travel again for 90 min but another direction... again again till contact is spoted

that take a photo knob it's hide on tha attack periscop is not wisible when u hava a crap monitor like me wich suport maxim reso. 1280x1024 (i need to buy another HD one cos 1 it's by my kid computer )u can see that knob only by Obs periscop
this screen it's from fifi and there u can see also on attack periscope cos have a high reso. At Obs. periscope u can see it cos u can hide the TDC on crap monitor :)

I tried on 1920x1080 and it is hidden behind the stadi box...

This knob isttto shot photos if the target is loocked on...one of you told me time before it was missing....but that it is not aprwaring in the wide Screen wonders me, because i changed the place of it...i will have look on it and i will put it on my list for magui v3.04

If i understand well, you mean change the black background for other texture?
If so, yes it's doable :up:

PS: those scope views are very nice, but completely unrealistic to me.
Looking through the scope lens, background field of view should be lot more smaller to the point you should see only blurred texture very close around the ring...

I'll try a clean install. Do I have to clear the SH5 directory in my windows user profile, too? (saves, etc.)

Sorry, I was off for some days.
I tried to run SH5Schiffe.exe with only magui 3.01 activated and it crashes. Maybe my SH5 installation is corrupted :/
I'll try a clean install. Do I have to clear the SH5 directory in my windows user profile, too? (saves, etc.)

Try this;

1) Make a copy of;
1a) C:\Users\Documents\SH5 folder and save it, e.g. on your desktop (this is where your game progress and settings are stored)
1b) C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS folder and save it, e.g. on your desktop
2) Uninstall SH5
3) Delete the following (whatever is left after the uninstall, if anything);
3a) C:\Users\Capo\Documents\SH5 folder
3b) C:\Ubisoft
4) Sweep your HD registry for leftovers. (I use the CCleaner (http://ccleaner.sv.softonic.com/))
5) Reboot
6) Install SH5
To make sure SH5 gets patched, run SH5 once (in the SH5 main menu top right corner you should see v1.2.0) If this isn't the case the SH5 didn't get patched during reinstall >
run the C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter5\Support\GameUpdater\gu.exe and then run SH5 to check you now see v1.2.0 in the SH5 main menu top right corner
7) Reboot and run SH5 to check it runs OK
8) Make a copy of the C:\Users\Documents\SH5 folder on your desk top and Paste it in the C:\Users\Documents folder and let overwrite
9) Install JSGME (by JSGME User Guide)
10) Move whatever mods you want from the copy of the MODS folder on your desktop - one at a time - make sure the structure is; mods' name\data
Nothing more nothing less.
If there should be a 'documentation folder' you can leave it there, it won't affect the mod's features
11) Activate whatever mods you want

IDK if can be resised cos thoes periscope have high reso. 1600x1200 and magui attack periscope mask have 1024x1024 and when u resise u destroy the periscope lens .... u must ca out some parts from that periscope to make it 1024x1024 ... i am not sure but somebody with more photoshop experience can confirm or infirm

That's correct. Quite hard to get the periscope global lens, furthermore we don't have the whole Magui ring circle on our screen (even 1920x1080).
But using photoshop, i took part of periscope support, and added it around our lens ring ---> it works.
Other problem, i don't know where to find the rest of background because the periscope mask .dds doesn't fit all screen (still black stripes left and right)

I have black stripes on left and right...
To get rid of black stripes, you have to find them in the page attack periscope file (or observation periscope) and change the black.dds for right and left...
Took me long to figure out :)

Проблема со скрина решается установкой моего патча.. зачем мне показывать скрин с проблемой, которую я уже решил?

Should be your problem solved - "about" also? or finally no?
The problem on the screen is solved installing my RUS Localization patch.. Why do I need to watch a screen with a problem that I had already decided?
You have to install Fonts Patch.. if it will not help, show me your screen..

Честно?. я не могу и не хочу заниматься проблемой если человек задав вопрос пропадает на день или неделю.. если нужно решение вопроса, то нужно написать в личку или обратиться по Скайпу и посидеть подождать ответа и решения.. если решение конечно нужно..

As you know, I left sukhoi three months ago and sometimes some people still can't understand that it's better to use Skype or PM for native language..

Are you talking about the anchor icon? or the pop up window for choosing refit/end patrol/report?

there was an debug error when u click on the dock botton and end mission now that error doesnt appear anymore

and yup i order silent running or ahead slow and knukle dial go to stop doesnt go to ahead slow

It happens to me sometimes, even for any speed order. The needle doesn't want to follow new order, but the right speed is ordered though :yep:
It seems reloading game and/or deactivating activating mods list solved this issue...

So i added historical binocular logos, screws, and rubber ring as binoculars had.
Plus new graduations...

yes that is right...there has been a debug error when Docking a port....there wa a line in the script i forgot to undokumentate...is is an userduidance error...this is one oof the anoying parts i removed from the game...stormfly descripte them as house wife Tools...:O:....and becaus of the other error...i don not know why because i didn't even touch the area of code....as i mentioned bevor....tdw made some changes in his last patch...what Version are you using from tdw and have you activated this Option in his patch....???

But there was purely our, Russian showdown :).. for some reason he couldn't enable Rus Localization patch properly and text/labels weren't displayed correctly..

u must run Sh5schiffe only when u change the mod list not each time when u start a new career...

and when u put the mouse on the bottom of the screen there must show up the shortcut bar... when u put the mouse on the left side bottom there must show up the left console and when on the right side there must show up the right console the TDC it's show when u go to attack or obs. periscope and there is a botton on the shortcut menu bar wich one show the tdc on nav map..

It does all of that as long as I'm on patrol. As soon as I start a NEW patrol or a new career, it all disappears. None of it shows up anymore.
I started a career and went on patrol in 'British Coastal Waters'. Before I got there I saved and exited the game. I installed the Magui and went back into the game. Everything you mentioned showed up. It all worked just fine. I completed the mission and docked at Wilhelmshaven. Started a new mission and now everything is gone. Nothing of what worked before shows up. No matter where I put my cursor, nothing pops up.

start a new campaign when u isntall mods.... not all mods need to start a new campaign but most of them need to start a new campaign ....

do not install mods when u are in patrol and load again that save games

Not with automation in first time, as we can calculate with our speed the distance we run, but we need a new order for dead reckon icon showing up :yep: (otherwise we'll never know were we are!)
And something to desable the course line order...

What do you think? Is it doable for you?...just a real nav as simple as possible to start with...

Hey mates,

haven't been here for a Long time. After my vacation in sweden with my Family my youg daughter became a Salmonella poisoning and we stayed in Hospital for a week with her and after that she is still not allowed to go to the kindergarden.

So i had no time to do anything here....sorry for that because i promissed to get ready with a few updates here...but this may happen later this year

I have repeatedly rechecked all the files except for the necessary changes to be compatible with Magui Interface do not fundamentally changed. However, no tool is activated by plotting, as it should be when you click on the marker boats or line the course. Comes to mind only that which is the layer overlaps the workspace maps. But then why other tools keep working? (Protractor, compass, etc.).:hmmm:

sorry for my late answer...yea my daughter is okay...thank you..still to much arround in real life...a you mean plotting course and waypoints....there is a game Option i placed in to Switch it of...Default value in my mod is waypoints of by clicking the boats Position and the waypoint tool...there are two ways...start the sh5schiffe.exe before starting the game...set the map tool Options by clicking the Checkbox...in game in the capatins book...Switch there to the map Options navigations map and Switch the Options on...

This is kind of a weird question, but could someone explain to me how to launch torpedoes in this mod. I have never worked with that control board thing before. Also, mine doesn't have the green buttons to select which tubes to fire. Is there a tutorial or walk through or something that could help me out?

I could not use CSP Magui, my computer does not have SH5Schiffe.exe not found for download on the internet.

Can someone point me where to find SH5Schiffe.exe for download on the internet?

Of course you can use CSP Magui, it's included in the mod :yep:

Do this

1. Activate the CSP Magui in JSGME
2. Go to > C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\SH5Schiffe.exe
3. Open it up and got to the tab 'Map Options' and do your settings for the map
4. Go to the tab 'Create Recognition Manual' and press the two buttons at the bottom
5. Close
6. Start SH5 :up:

Generic Patcher installed v1.0.149.0, according http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=205620 after CSP Magui as Sjizzle 's Mod List. I do not have a stable game, have constant CTD. 'm Inciando the first campaign. Before he had tested in some missions and also faced Historical CTD, could not finish any.

My equipment is:
Processor: Intel Core i7 - 3520M CPU@2.90 GHz
RAM: 12 GB
GPU: GeForce GT 640M 1GB DDR3 LE
WIN 8.1 64-bit


Before I had an installation with the Steam version. I bought the DVD, did a clean intalaçăo, applied the changes Generic Patcher v1.0.149.0, installed Sjizzle 's Mod List.
All help is accepted!

Is there a way of disabling the radio messages? They are getting VERY annoying! If they had some bearing as to where I am operating that would be different, they would actually be useful. But none of them are even remotely in my area of operations and in my opinion their are way to many of them.any help would be very much appreciated captains.:/\\!!

after a long time not working on this i like to implement the addtional commands tdw created in his last updates in his tdw patcher...

Trying to include the independent engine control. the ability to Switch to electric engine surfaced and the toggle off function for the hardcoded marking lines in the scopes....

...and try to put in the update 3.02 together to Verson 3.03 with some small additions.

thank you...wonder that...if you give the order to get depth under keel you should get an message...sometimes with a delay...that is my experience...

as i look at you mod order you are using some still old ones and the order seams not correct for me...

please have a look at this one to imagine what you should use instead...important is here the order of the mods...

Please post your list also in this thread....

an idea is here also just to test only the ui mod with the german patch to see if the error is still there.....is your SH5 Version 1.2?

Sometimes a new fresh installation of sh5 might help to clear a lot of errors.

as it is possible now to realize an Independent engine Control by Using the Pathces from TDW i like to implement this in this Interface....but i have still no idea where to place the control to Switch between the both, left or right engine. Also i like to place a Switch to aktivate the electric engine when surfaced.

I thought about a Panel wich is to be called bei a button in the lower left console, but i think it woul be much better to Combine it in the slide in Gauges....i think it is not a good idea to place it to the other commands to be called in the lower right....

Any Idea and designs are welcome here...

The ability to toggle the stock marking lines in Attack and observationscope is realized by an additonal button in the lower right wich is only apearing in the scope views...

Are you talkiing about coding or how it is to be placed in the graphical user interface? I can send a pic of what it looks like in New UIs for TDC if that helps in your decision.

Hey Mate,

the Independent Engine control ist now implemented and fully working.

Screenie will follow. It is a Panel that can be toggled and is mounted on the gauges wich are sliding from the left side.

While the Gauges are hidden the Panel apears direktly on the left side of the Screen.

Wenn Du die im Interface hinterlegten Befehle nutzt kann nichts schief gehen, da hier die Befehle per script hinterlegt sind.

Schleichfahrt fix for stock keyboard

läuft alles Super aber leider wenn ich Brücke besetzen auswähle
kommt keiner, Flak und Geschütz werden besetzt.

Wo kann ich Informationen über die Angriffsscheibe wie man sie benutzt
finden, habe schon mit Google versucht was in Deutsch zubekommen.
Leider nichts gefunden.

Ich wähle der Reihe nach:

1. Wachoffizier
2. Besatzung an Deck
3. Seewache auf Brücke (leuchtet kurz roter Rahmen) Seewach kommt nicht

4. Deck- und Flakgeschütz(e) besetzen (wird gemacht)
5. Nochmal Seewache auf Brücke ( Deck- und Flakgeschütz wird verlassen)
Seewache kommt nicht.

OK dann lass bitte mal den Schleichfahrt fix für Stock Keyboard weg.

Kann sein, dass dort etwas mit der command.cfg gemacht worden ist.

ansonsten gehe mal so vor, dass Du nur das magui Interface alleine startest und dann mal schaust ob es immer noch nicht geht.

Ich deintalliere noch SH5 und Installiere es noch mal neu.

hatte vor Magui 3.02 den Mod von Magnum Opus getestet, aber wieder
über Generic Mod Enabler deinstalliert dann den Magui 3.02 Installiert.

Habe noch zwei Fragen

Bei Anzeige Kapitän kann man verschiedene Karten sich Anzeigen lassen
bis auf Peilungszeiten und Maneuver Karte ist das Richtig oder muß
ich noch Karten dafür laden?
Gibt es Infos über die Karten?

Hallo,

eine saubere Installation ist auf jedenfall eine gut Idee...bei den Karten handelt es sich um die Karten Optionen der TAI und Navigationskarte was angezeigt werden soll und was nicht.

Dazu muss nichts weiter geladen werden

ich wollte mal fragen, ob es inzwischen möglich ist, den MagUI mit einer automatischen Ziellösung bzw. mit Waffenoffizierunterstützung zu nutzen.
Außerdem habe ich widersprüchliche Aussagen bezüglich der Kompatibilität mit der Schleichfahrt-Mod und dem Generic Patcher gefunden. Bei aktiviertem MagUI ist zum Beispiel das Menü-Video von Das Boot verschwunden und bei deaktiviertem MagUI istbeim Start im Bunker das vordere Periskop ausgefahren. Wie weit greift denn die MagUI in die Dateien von Schleichfahrt ein? Wäre dankbar für eine Aufklärung!

Hey Mate,

it ist still not possible to geht an automatic solution to target.

In the Options you can get by using the captains face in the bottom order bar, you can activate the officer face and set the abitlity to deactivate the tdc.

If you now move the scope over the target you get an automated solution.

About schleichfahrt i must have a look. by activating the mod with the mod enabler you get a warning if files will be overwritten.

have a look on them and tell us wich These are.

sorry for my german post and thank you for the answer DrJones...I've seen some posts in german in this thread and thought to try it in german first, just because its easier (not because i dont know how to write in english) ;) So my question was about the compatibility of the Schleichfahrt Mod, the Generic Patcher and the MagUI and about the possibility to get an auto targeting for the MagUI.
I installed the mods in the following order:
Schleichfahrt part1
Parts Magui V 3.01 by DrJones
Parts Magui Patch 3.02
Manos Scopes resolution patch 16x9
Schleichfahrt part2
Schleichfahrt_1_0h_deutschpatch
Keyboard Deutsch V0.6
Accurate German Flags
Remove Steelvikings shadow mod
and TDW Genericpatcher

As you can see, i use a german keyboard translation which is quite old but it works better and has a lot more possibilities than the one that was made for the schleichfahrt-mod

When i activate the parts magui V3.01 it tells me:

3. If i'm in a storm there is no crew on the conning tower after the sub surfaces
4. when i dive at sea the hatch of the conning tower closes automaticly but it doesnt open after the sub is on the surface again

First of all i like you to leave away the Keyboard deutsch Mod and test it once again.

because of the other Errors i have a look on them....schleichfahrt is made by uekel and he is still away for 2 years and he didn't update it...so i don't now what is incompatible with the magui Interface...

Hey guys,
sorry for my german post and thank you for the answer DrJones...I've seen some posts in german in this thread and thought to try it in german first, just because its easier (not because i dont know how to write in english) ;) So my question was about the compatibility of the Schleichfahrt Mod, the Generic Patcher and the MagUI and about the possibility to get an auto targeting for the MagUI.
I installed the mods in the following order:
Schleichfahrt part1
Parts Magui V 3.01 by DrJones
Parts Magui Patch 3.02
Manos Scopes resolution patch 16x9
Schleichfahrt part2
Schleichfahrt_1_0h_deutschpatch
Keyboard Deutsch V0.6
Accurate German Flags
Remove Steelvikings shadow mod
and TDW Genericpatcher

As you can see, i use a german keyboard translation which is quite old but it works better and has a lot more possibilities than the one that was made for the schleichfahrt-mod

So with this combination i have some problems:

Hey DrJones,
thank you for your advice how to use the TDC...it helped me to sink some ships :D
I tried out to leave some Mods away to have a solution for the hatch-bugs...Even when I disable every Mod except Schleichfahrt I have the Bug. So either it is a Bug from the Stock game or from Schleichfahrt...but it has nothing to do with the MagUI...
But as long as everything works when i'm at sea I can live with that problem...

I still have something like that in mind when i will implement a real Navigation.
But i can put this Option in a Pre Version i will release.

The Captain Panel will be redesigned as i got more familiar with the usage of listboxes in this game.

Is there any way to make snorkle available in this Magui?
I like to approach to target submerged with the snorkle raised so the target can't see me after too late (close distance) and i can move a bit fast around 10 knot (not only 5-6 knot without snorkle and ussually make me not become a sea wolf but a turtle behind them :haha:)

Or any one can make this mod Uboat Snorkel for SH5 by TheDarkWraith compatible with Magui please?

i am just thinking about where to place the Controls for the Diveplanes and the Orders for them....

Has anybody a design idea how we can do it?

My first idea has been to place the dials to the other one sliding out on the right side and hide the orders in the left console for that?

But i Think the the range is pretty tight for this additonal gauges for lower Resolutions.

i managed to make a hardcore real navigation for magui.... there is no navigator report u must calculate your own position, via run fix, celestial fix, and dead recognition. now i am testing this mod and if all work great i will give it to DrJones to add it to the new version of magui.

after some more test the rela navigation for Magui work good.... i can calculate my position via run fix very well ...
now need only that DrJones to add a sextant to his UI to see if i can calculate the celestial fix too
