Default Realistic sunrise (make some new achievements in Environment 4.0MOD)

The result of the sectional drawing is worse than PC ,It is more realistic to see the sunrise from PC . The first pic still can see the star in the sky , I think this is realistic.

Cool. Will you be making sure the sun is 1/2 a degree in size, or at least make a version like that?

Size 1/2? What does it mean for :hmm: 1/2 a degree in size.

Does the sun reduce size 1/2? If refer to the size of the sun, I can well change.

The sun and moon are ALWAYS 1/2 of 1 degree in size. That's about half a finger width held at arm's length. I guess you could measure with the scope if the ticks are known.

That's one thing that bugs me about the game world, the giant sun and moon.

I have finished the work of narrowing the sun, but it is still immature to narrow the moon. I'll try again .

Looks great.
I guess you're using a NVidia, W_clear?

Another thing:
Carotio made a moon-mod for SH3 last year, which not only has 3 different choices for moon-size (I prefer the small version), but also shows changes in brightness and contrast, depending on the moon-phase.
Maybe you should take a look at it - get it here - and see if it's usefull.
Credits to Carotio, for his wonderfull mod.

Looks good W_clear. I like the way it lights up the whole ocean and not just a narrow line in your line of sight.

Notice how the sun looks far less like some glowing warm 'orb' when the size was reduced? (during the initial rise)

It looks fantastic.

Looking very impressive Can't wait to try this new version with 1.5. I especially like the fact that it's easier on the FPS, which I know is a concern not only for myself, but for lots of folks here as well. Keep up the good work
