Default Sh.sdl in readable form

After investigating the file format for Sh.sdl, I made an easy export of the contents to Excel, for my own reference. While support for this file will come soon in S3D, people may already want to have a look at what's in there (without the need for hexeditting), so here's a link with the Excel file and a text tabdelimited alternative...

Good to hear we can edit this file soon easily.
First thing I'll do is to increase the distance the explosions can be heard. I don't know how to apply that with a hex editor, I just tried it.
*edit*
Okay, it isn't a problem anymore. It's quite easy.

I see you can change numbers but how can you test without constant loading of the game?

Also, do you have to convert it back to .dl?

You constantly load and reload the game. Try it for a few hours some night, and you'll have a picture of the work required for something like LBO or ROW.

I gotcha, but sometimes there is an easy way too. Thought I would ask.

Do you just plug this in for it to work in excell format?
