Next I finally managede to get myself one of them big five inch deck guns, but cant seem to get crew to man it when in port, there are simply no crew slots to assign crew to the gun

And another one - While crusing between Japan and Korea, I got a radar warning re a plane closing in. As usual while he was miles away I went to perescope depth then down to about 150 feet for good measure, ran slow and thought to just footle along till night time. About three hours later I decided to go top side and continue on my way, at about 90 feet, all the guys in my watch compartment just died, with no apparent hull damage, then I got reports that both attack and observation scopes were destroyed as was the deck gun and AA guns, and the AA gun crews were dead also.

Now there was no plane, no ship anywhere near me, I had the depth and all was perfectly nromal, is this a bug, I've also stated to notice a few other odd things like sound glitches and other stuff which seem to be happening more and more as 1944 progresses, could this be some sort of bug?

Hope you might clear this up

Regards
R

What version of RSRDC are you using?

IRT to the above, the problem is a “stock” issue were in the Japs_Harbor_traffic.mis three is no one, but three DD tracks that have “generic aircraft carrier” list as the content of the track vice the correct content of “generic DD”. The problem has been corrected and will be in the next release of RSRDC.

RSRDC makes no changes to SH4 that will cause this type of problems

Yay those mines are evil buggers. The other day I decided to take a peek at the minefields with the mission editor... I wish I hadn't. Many areas I had used as safe transit routes were literally full off minefields. Talk about ignorance being a bliss!

During the next patrol I was so paranoid about mines that I didn't submerge until it was dead obvious that I'd been spotted or would be spotted any moment. It wasn't really helpful either that the first patrol area was south of Bungo Suido and the second Korea Straits and Sea of Japan. Not many minefields in the... BOOOM!

Good job modders and devs

will RSRD and TM 1.76 jive after the change you are going to make Ducimas?

Oh, and I know it's the wrong forum, but thanks for the changes.

That camera in the loading room/map room not working was driving me nuts.

Default RSRD & new ships

Miner 1436 is releasing several new ships for the sim and I was wondering if RSRD will utilize these new vessels if they are present in the data files.

Respectfully Submitted;

Currently have no plans to use his ships. This is because I don't use "generic" ship types in my campaign layer. The amount of work to integrate them into RSRDC is not worth the effort at this point.

Based on a "quick" look, RSRDC v221 for TM175 will work "out of the box" with TM176. Will do a total eval by the end of the day

Thanks for the response, lurker. Thanks for your hard work on this mod. It is a great improvement on the stock game and I look forward to final phase release.

After careful review RSRDC v221 works with TM176. No changes are required at this time

luker, just so you know, there's a tanker at Dutch Harbor that's partially pushed up on its side:

It's aligned on a north-south axis, northeast of the southwestern docks.

I would agree except there was no hull damage, just seems all my sailors came down with the dreaded plague and died
