Rear Adm. Jennifer Couture, Commander Naval Service Training Command, visited Battleship Texas in its dry dock and Gulf Copper in Galveston as part of Navy Week Houston.
Repairs continue on the ship for an extensive $35 million repair at Gulf Copper & Manufacturing Corporation’s shipyard to refurbish the hull, after making the milestone journey to Galveston from the San Jacinto Battleground in August.
