German + French translation needed please!

I've attempted to translate the following English text into German and French. Can someone competent in either please confirm or correct my translations?

English: "This crewman has been awarded a U-Boat War Badge, however, the badge was not established until 13 October 1939."

German: "Dieses Besatzungsmitglied wurde mit der U-Bootabzeichen. Allerdings wurde diese Auszeichnung nicht vor dem 13. Oktober 1939 eingeführt."

French: "Cet homme d'équipage a été décoré de la U-Bootabzeichen, cependant, la U-Bootabzeichen a été créée le 13 october 1939." [remembering that the French game uses German rank and badge labels].

For the french I would make a little correction:

"Cet homme d'équipage a été décoré de la U-Bootabzeichen, cependant cette décoration n'a été créée que le 13 octobre 1939."
