That's fantastic!

I especially liked the instruction on how to use the head...

Rule #6:
6) (almost done) CLOSE BOTH VALVES. Though a great practical joke to leave one open, it is one that has a costly payback. Oh, and don't forget to sign out as you leave!

4 or 5 full size boasts that I could find and a bunch of midgets.

This is a link to all the surviving U-Boats, at least those open to the public, me thinks.

That would be nice to see in person. Thanks for sharing, Zoinks!

Yea, that's all of them, unfortunately enough. I heard that they may be pulling another one from the bottom somewhere in Norway; and then there's info on uboat.net about two type XXI's buried under concrete and gravel in Hamburg.

The XXI in Bremerhaven has been modernised because it served in the Bundesmarine, so it´s not like it was back in WW2.

Cause I visited the VIIC in Labeo and the XXI lately I have some pictures of both of them. If there is interest, I may be able to host them.

I was there just a couple weeks ago. Here are some photos if you're interested.

Yup, one of my all time favorite shows....

They have LARGE models now that you can buy, (like 3'!) of the FS1 and Seaview...

Fun stuff!

Yeah. I saw the Flying Sub and the light kit for it, and I was tempted, but I have to be realistic - it would probably sit in a closet for years until someone stepped on the box, and it's a bit pricey for a closet-filler.

Tis rather expensive no doubt!

I did get the HAL9000 model from them. Got it to light up and all. Kinda neat and I have it on my wall here at work.
;O)
