Default British claim major breakthrough in nuclear fusion testrun

https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-60312633

A declaration of war against German windmill lovers? The current German govenment wants 2% of German soil being turned into German windfarms. And Baerbock wants to bring in US-citizen chief of Greenpeace into her staff team, giving her German nationality and making her a a state secretary.

( They all made the calculation without the just starting (!) inflation. The supply bottlenecks drive up costs, product costs rise, then even higher wage increases are demanded, and then inflation starts galloping instead of running fast. The post-Corona horror has just begun. Add to this that the Europeans want to push up costs for energy intentionally, and dramatically.)

Consideirng how far away fusiun reactors still are, I wonder whether they will arrive in time to make a difference in the industrial fall. ITER in Southerhn France plans to demostrate, when it is finsihed, that they cna generate 10 time smore energy than they have to poump into it to have it running. But so far that is just - wishful thinkling. The British testrun in the link above, while it lasted consummed 1% of the British powergrid' total output.
