Silent Hunter III disc problems
G'day I have Silent Hunter III on disc & want to start playing it again on a LT running windows 7 Pro but because the disc is from 2006 it won't play. What can I do to fix this problem. I'm not tech savvy & since I can't go to my rifle range I need to shoot something whether it be torpedos a deck cannon or flak guns.

Hi Harps666 A Warm Welcome to Subsim
Your SH3 disc the original with starforce protection on disc not like the one in the picture this is the version i have But if it is like the pic then your SH3 Disc is already patched and has starforce removed. Starforce Removal Tool https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/dow...o=file&id=5562 1.4 Patch for SH3 but ensure you install the right one for your location https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Fa...-1364550234609 please let us know how you got on fixing your SH3 if all goes well when you hover your mouse pointer over your SH3 exe it should say 1.4.0.1 then you know its patched

Cheers guys I'll take a pic with my camera tomorrow the box is very similar it has the same picture on it but it is UBISOFT. Thanks I'll try it.
