Silent Hunter III disc problems
 

G'day I have Silent Hunter III on disc & want to start playing it again on a LT running windows 7 Pro but because the disc is from 2006 it won't play. What can I do to fix this problem. I'm not tech savvy & since I can't go to my rifle range I need to shoot something whether it be torpedos a deck cannon or flak guns.

Your SH3 disc the original with starforce protection on disc not like the one in the picture this is the version i have
But if it is like the pic then your SH3 Disc is already patched and has starforce removed.

please let us know how you got on fixing your SH3


if all goes well when you hover your mouse pointer over your SH3 exe it should say 1.4.0.1 then you know its patched

Cheers guys I'll take a pic with my camera tomorrow the box is very similar it has the same picture on it but it is UBISOFT. Thanks I'll try it.

To work on Win7 you need "No CD Silent Hunter 3"

Looking for help with the same problem. If I read this correctly, I will need to buy the steam version? Hating the fact that operating systems are not easily backward compatible.
