intro.dll missing

Today, I uninstalled and reinstalled my Steam copy of SH4, only to find that it won't run because the intro.dll file is missing.

I've reinstalled it multiple times and deleted my SH4 documents folders, but with no success. Intro.dll is still missing.

Any ideas?

EDIT: It seems that there a a few .dll files missing, and even some textures. This wasn’t the case a few days ago

Have you tried that Steam "verify" thingie, where it checks the integrity of the files? You don't wanna do that after activating a mod, but with the base Stock game, it will download what's missing (supposedly)...

Thanks for the help guys, issue is resolved now

Turns out that you do actually need base SH4 and UBM on Steam, even though the UBM install was previously working fine for me with base SH4 uninstalled and refunded
