Help - seeking recommended Mods for SH5 - but german

Hello


I used to play SH 5 back in the day and decided to give it another go.
Back than i used no mods.

I ve modded skyrim before using nexus mod manager have a bit experience with general modding but never modded sh5

I saw there are plenty of mods out there which does not make it easier for me to decide which ones to take for 2016.

so probably latest patch with bug fixes and other must have mods.
the issue i fear is that some of them may conflict with german language?

since i m playing that game in german.
Any idea which mods i could get without issues?

it worked i done step by step after long digging,


but now language turned into ENGLISH....


i ve tried changing main.cfg

[SETTINGS]
Language=ger

voices are german but text still shows all english

please help

u don't need to change the language from there u need the menu.txt in german language ....
here is the answer for your question

Unfortunately not (yet)...German (or any other) menu.txt is not compatible...

what about NewUis_ByTheDarkWraith? that game is so bugged. i could use at least some mods to enjoy it a bit.


i m also surprised that the whole menues changed to english. even the standart ones changed into english.
so when will it be available? are there no similar mods which would work with german?

u can always make your own mod list following sober mod list or my mod list ....and in tdw's UI has a german menu txt

sober mod list here
my mod list in my signature but my modlist in based on MagUI.....with MagUI is german language as default

Its a really good one (page 5!!) but except the last update for The Wolves of Steel 1.05 - Update No. 08 is missing at the moment.

but they changed so much. i no longer can draw waypoints on map it seems.

disable the real navigation and then u can draw your way points

yeah.
well than on top the game is not really running smooth. it keeps freezing for a quick amout of a second every 10 seconds or so. ( having a gamer pc, Radeon R9, 8 core amds, 16 ram etc)
(i assume that due to this bunch amout of packed of mods this conflict is normal)

at the beginning my boat is damaged for no reason. i can command officers to start repair it. go figure.
also everything seems delayed when i tell them to run full speed takes 6 seconds till it happens and lever switches. same with navigating the boat.

u have followed all the install instruction from TWoS or what mods are u using can post your mod list pls ?

and for the stuttering there is a fix download
extract all the files from that archive to the main folder of SH5

PS. u will have longer loading time with that antilag don't panic
