Another category to consider might be AAR of the year.

In which case I would wholeheartedly nominate CCIP's engaging and informative AAR --"So Far, So Good"--about the life and death struggles of a Soviet Dekabrist class submarine in the Barents Sea.

There are 750 new posts every day at Subsim. That's over 275,000 this year. Of those, one will be Post of the Year 2015. Which one, that's up to you to decide.
