Need Help

Okay i have SH5 and i have The wolves of steel mod installed. Its working great the only problem i have is there is no targets showing up on the navigation map not enemy ships or friendly ships in port i can see them in view but not on the navigation map.

I can see friendly ships out on the sea when zoomed out but when i zoom in on them they disappear.

This sounds like it may be linked to the realism you chose when you started your new career?
If I understand you correctly you are saying that you cannot see map contacts on the Navigation and TAI maps?
If this is the case then in the game settings the map contacts box needs to be unticked as per the picture.

You can only make this type of change when you are in the bunker.
Press the Esc key.
Select Options.
Game Options.
Save the changed settings.
Press the Esc key
Make a manual save
Go to the main menu.
Load the saved game.

Okay yes i know about the map contact update i have that unchecked i also tried playing at 0% realism to see if it worked but still no contacts on the nav map. If iam in port and hold the mouse over different places i see the text Merchant but i can not see the icon and nothing more.

It seems to be something with the mods that makes this error

You can enable map contacts in WoS using TDWOptionsFileEditorViewer. Learn how to use this app and explore it's options. It is truly remarkable aplication and it offers to the player level of customization like in no previous SH title...

I only have The Wolves Of Steel 1.04, The Wolves Of Steel 1.04 patch 3 and The Wolves Of Steel 16x9 resolution patch. I know how to use the TDWeditor but i can not the find patch for map contact update

Hi j

The settings you need are in the TAI and Nav map.

Look for "show visual contacts"

These need to be "blue" enabled.

Okay i went ahead and enabled every show contact one in TAI options and NAVmap options but still not a difference
