Any way to turn off hydrophone reports?

In SH3 when I got tired of hearing about the destroyers overhead depth charging me I'd remove the sonar guy from his station and put him to bed so I could use time compression to run out the clock on the destroyers.

Is there a way to do this in SH5?

I've got 15 destroyers overhead and they can't touch me so I just want to TC while they lose interest. But my sonar guy wants to keep chatting at me every time he re-establishes contact or someone drops a depth charge and drops my TC down to 1.

Anyone have any duct tape?

Can you not manually take over the station and turn off the sonar! Been a while since I played (unmodified)

Try to edit hunter state and enemy detected TC values in Main.cfg file and see what will happen...

Yes, definitely setting enemy detected value to higher number like 256 will do the trick. You can ignore hunter state...
