hi,i have played sh3,4,5. I think sh3 is better than sh5 as you go to the end of the war rather than the the end of the type v11. plus you can change the type of U-boat for later in the war. the craphics are brill as you can roam around the boat but still the sh3 is better for the instant stations you need to go to. if the makers of the silent hunter games do sh6 maybe they will make it a lot better as in putting back room noise of the crew in german as some mods do this.

Maybe there won't be a silent hunter 6. It's been 4 years since the last game and they released a free version of the game for people who either can't run SH5/SH4 or SH3 won't work on their PC. I hate Silent Hunter Online. It's so claustrophobic in that game. I hope that they do make an SH6. Maybe another american submarine based missions thing.

I will be very surprised if we ever see another PC based Silent Hunter.

Todays market place is Xbox and PlayStation.

SH3-4-5 versions are good because of the modders not because of Ubisoft.

Remember all these versions were introduced with faults, never finalized as being fault free, then abandoned.
