Ahoy All
I played SH4 almost a year but could never get manual input and fire control to work and with auto, it was too easy. I loved the game but moved on almost 2 years ago. I got into some other games such as DCS and Arma and learned what mods are. A couple weeks back I revisited SH4 and upon visiting steams forums learned that there are mods to fix my issue as well as many others to improve gameplay. Seems this is the place to go for downloading and using naval sim mods so I just signed up. I know I have alot of reading and studing to do, but I am here because I hope this site will bring new life into a game I love. I will most likely have alot of questions, but rest assured, I will ask if I can not find the answer I seek.
I know I need two mods, JSGME and and the optics correction mod. A quick glance through steams forums and this site however show that there are mods that add missions and even extend the AO. I have seen "run silent, run deep" mentioned alot. If anyone might have suggestions of content mods I might what to look at, I would love to hear them. Thx and glad to be aboard, Amodo |
