Only two things about Florida are good, the theme parks and the beaches.

I like Florida. Nice place, filled with old people. In fact, my parents are retiring to Florida.

What do I love about that place?

Miami is the only place where you can eat at a steakhouse, and see an MLB game (with snacks) with good seats for 30$

That means that you do not like America then seeing as something around 70% of Florida residents come from the rest of the US.

Nice to pass judgment on two entire states(or rather the millions of very different people that reside within them) because you dislike certain aspects of them aspects which can be found in any society anywhere(in other words every state).

Sorry it just bugs me when people place judgment on entire states and more importantly the people who reside in them it is very superficial.

I judge people by their actions not by the state they live in.

Florida has no income tax how you like that? Florida also has some of the most lax gun laws in the country I can think of only a few states that are more lax than Florida.

I mean what state makes it illegal to drive with an un-caged bear? Missouri. In Florida I am free to drive down the road with my bear able to move around freely not stuck in some cage. Now that is real freedom.

I peg you as a conservative Florida is a predominantly conservative state it is the second most populated "red" state after Texas. (map near bottom of page) http://www.esri.com/news/arcwatch/10...ng-states.html not honestly that the political make up a given state has much relevance to me.

Some day people will see though this bogus "red" state "blue" state crap..... maybe.

Oh yeah how goes the snowy cold weather?

Yeah Florida is full of freaking idiots(most of whom moved here from another state) but show me a state without its fair share of idiots.

I mean I have never been to Utah but seeing as Sailor Steve lives there I could say that Utah is full of grammar Nazis.

I never said I hated everything about those two states and wished everybody who lived there died or anything.

I just think they're crazy states. Am I allowed to think that?

I poke fun at all of the states (Except Wyoming...and Montana...because nothing happens there. You need people for stuff to happen). It's no different than poking fun between branches of the military.

Yeah, I respect all of them (except the Coast Guard...who's not a branch of the military. course I respect all of them) but there's a few stereotypes and goofballs here and there to poke fun at.

Why does everything have to be so serious?

Judging on some recent events, I am not sure that is such a hot selling point.

For the most part I agree with you, excepting if one happened to be born and raised within the state they are judging. I know I can spot Californian's pretty easy here in Utah, and I don't need to see what the tag is on their vehicle to do it. More often then not, they have a certain attitude and manor that isn't hard to spot.

EDIT:
As a tongue in cheek aside, I think living in a state that is located in hurricane alley, near sea level and surrounded by water on three sides is plain, flat out, nuts!

Red seems pretty pro 2nd Amendment so that is why I mentioned it.I think those whack jobs like the guy at the movie theater he'd have done that in Bora Bora if he lived there.

Well there is hardly a state that is safe from some form of natural disaster.
I have always lived in inland Florida I think it is stupid to live right along the beach like many do that is asking for trouble just from beach erosion much less storms.

I all of roughly 30 years living in Florida I have only been effected by 2 storm one was a massive Nor'easter back in 91(I think) which nailed all of the Eastern Seaboard as far inland as Pennsylvania.

Then in 2004 while on leave no less two hurricanes came through nearly back to back that sucked but it did no serious damage beyond knocking the power out for 2 weeks.

Few people realize that there is a massive fault line in the Eastern US that is still active one day it is going to do some serious damage sooner or later.Or how about the volcanic activity under Yellowstone National park which will cause a massive eruption at some point 5 minutes from or 10,000 years from now (?) so massive that it will cover the entire planet in ash on a scale large enough to possibly cause mass extinction.

Not that bothered.

I'll enjoy my time with a my un-caged bear as I drive down the road in a hurricane while shooting people who text during movies.

By the way I'll be moving to Kentucky to become a partner in my cousins trucking company in the spring so soon the hurricanes won't kill me but the New Madrid fault line or sink holes might kill me up there.
