The 30-year-old was reportedly removed from the show over fears viewers would not understand her Newcastle accent.

She sued producers Blue Orbit for $2.3m (£1.4m) for loss of earnings earlier this year.

If producers are stupid enough to not know that some people may have a problem understanding her then they deserve to fork out big.

Although if they are really that stupid I have a cunning plan, I'm going to inform them that the eminent Scotsman Gregor Fisher (Rab C Nesbit) is available to fill any future holes they may have in their presenting team. My fee for finding such a man?
