Wake up! It's that time of year again!

I was afraid the thead was going to jump the shark like shark week, but this years' pre-season drama sure looks tantalizing.

I guess this years theme is the "Rise of the Sophomore QBs."

No more NFL for me. Reason? The channel that broadcast Sunday night or Monday night football, have raised they monthly cost so much that I no more can effort to subscribe on that and some other channel.

So I just have to read about my team on the Internet.

Dallas beat Miami 24-20 last night for the first pre-season game aired on NBC sunday night football.

I retired when the score was Dallas 17 to Miami 3 in the 4th quarter (yawn)

but it's nice that football is back

Tebow will be throwing and not receiving. Of course he will be throwing from the sidelines. Brady will not sit down. Although, Tebow might be the answer to the choke experienced by Brady in the past years playoffs. Sorry August. Had to be said. Hernandez will be watching from his new address.

Of course me being a dirty bird Ravens fan, our line up defected after Flacco was given the golden key to the payroll vault. That is OK as we need some young talent on the field. Our boys who have played the past five plus seasons are starting to feel the pain.

I'm pretty sure that Tom has a few more good years left but I predict he will take a lot of knocks this year because he's lost so many of his receivers, especially the go to ones like Welker.

As for Tebow though he is never going to be taking the field unless both Brady and his backup Ryan Mallet are injured or he plays Tight End or some other position beside QB.

Got a great brain for a qb, a cannon for an arm, and runs the 40yd dash faster than all the recievers.

I mean we all saw the Super Bowl, last year, he had great poise, but I hear so little from the ESPN and sports "pundits" on him.

Just like 2 years ago, when they were crap, and made it to the NFC championship game, and no one thought they could get that far. the red and gold will have to force respect out of people, again...

Preseason is made for finding trouble spots. The Ravens first string against the Falcons was ugly. They need work. The biggest thing is everyone gets off the field without injury.

Denver's O-Line gave Peyton lots of time and the addition of Welker if he can stay healthy, is huge . Welker like Manning has a great football IQ.

50+ points?

Ravens really looked gassed in the 4th quarter. Too many injuries on both these teams to really know what kind of teams they'll be this year.

IMHO Ravens killed themselves giving Flacco all the money and letting Boldin go.

Give up a great reciever to pay a lucky quarterback. Let us see how he does by himself.

Not complaining, we (49ers) paid a draft pick for Boldin. Cheap!

The Black Cats really did well with only one player on the field. Peyton pulled in 54.64 points with his performance. With 7 Touchdowns and 462 yards passing, he outscored his projections (21.06) nicely!
