Officer Killed During Rescue of Hiker NW of Vegas
 "A Las Vegas police officer who was rescuing a hiker stranded in an off-limits area of a mountain northwest of the city died after falling from a helicopter hoist line Monday night." http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/o...vegas-19746173 I'm sure he had family. He died while trying to save someone's life. Lord have mercy on his soul and on his family.

I if an area is evacuated or blocked off from people, then if they are there, they are on their own. If they get in trouble, no one will come and get them.
