What a great idea to honor those who died in Newtown!

This is a great way to honor those who were lost recently, reach out and do something for someone!! Check the replies near the bottom of the page, it will make you feel better about the whole sad affair.

Makes more sense to put your energy into something like this then to argue till hell freezes over about gun control.

It is a very nice idea. Why does it take a tragedy like this to spurn acts of kindness? Why does it not happen everyday?

No idea, but the fact still sucks.

We live in a world of self absorbed.

Exactly. Some of us do such things without a reason other than it's the right thing to do.

Great idea, finally a Christian concept I can grasp...

Sadly though, it won't be long we will all go back to our self absorbed worlds...

About as quickly as we banded together and disbanded after the world trade centers coming down after the attack. We are a country very divided. A incident like this will create a deeper division.

That and most acts of kindness do not make the news even though they happen every day all over the place only no one hears about it only the persons involved
know about it.

I have seen kind acts and done them myself before.A few times in my life I have seen a person buy groceries and they where 10 or 15 dollars short and I gave them the money. I witnessed a person once pay a strangers entire bill not just the difference. I am sure that other subsim members have done similar things.

I'll double this months subscription to the local Hospice...there are some kids in there.
