Something daft and funny happened recently on a patrol although at the time it was frustrating. I just happened to be near the area where the Bismarck was attacked and sunk by the British. I thought great I am going to change history and change the course of the war. I was cruising a bit ahead of the Bismarck on her port side. Damn she is fast. The British ships closed in , I did my calculations to try and hit them. Hard to do seeing that they are damn fast as well. I fired off three torpedoes at the first British ship hoping I would hit her.
Bam, bam, bam they’re off. I wait and wait check to see where the torpedoes are and I see two of them slam into the Bismarck. I did not change the torpedo solution from a ship I a few days before.
Well I suppose this captain should not steer home as not to get publicly hanged.

So thats how the bismark was sunk,

not the british cruisers not germans scuttling it but a U-Boat hitting it with 2 torpedos

Grand Admiral Raeder and Unkle Karl are going to be very unhappy with you. You should be so lucky that only the Eastern front lies in your immediate future, perhaps as an artillery [extremely] forward observer. Pack your woolen long johns.
