Surprise!

So, I started my second patrol needing to sink my 4th and last Polish ship to complete the current mission before moving to bigger and better ones... I make it to my patrol location(which takes substantially longer with real navigation on). I've seen a lot of Finnish ships and such, but I need that Polish Flag to show up... Then SMOKE on the horizon. I get a good feeling about it, crank it into full speed and change course to intercept. I'm starting to get closer, I can see the ship... I'm still feeling good that the ship is the one I need and as I'm looking through the UZO trying to see if I can make out the flag.... a mass of explosions, Orange, yellow fire, and grey smoke... it's totally destroyed!!! NNNNOOOOOooooo...... What happened?!?, some kind of bug? Then I see the plane coming out of the dive! "Luftwaffe!" ...Totally stole my kill. Back to the drawing board. Disheartened, I save and decide to resume the search tomorrow... (tonight
