Salut
I forgot to add this to my last post and that is to do with Real Navigation I know that in useing this concept which makes the game more realistic all round what I was wondering is does the enemy show up on the map if in close prox of it or what do you still get the distant enemy marks ( Sq red Box) or even the lines indecating something in distance picked up by Hydrophone etc . Just what happens ? you just can not be left with a blank screen apart from your present location there must be something to mark the enemy etc. |

Real Navigation eliminates all the map icons except for radio contact icons (which can be turned off if desired). You only get a fix on your U-Boat's position by requesting either a celestial or dead-reckoning fix from your navigator. This is realism at it's finest, you will need to plot and mark all contacts manually on the map as you encounter them.

If you install Trevallys automation mod then the navigator will give you a mark on the navmap every 2 hours. Just use the compass and head in the general direction you want to go . Be aware that if the weather turns bad and he can only give dead reckonings then things might get more difficult to work out your location . I have been lost many times until the weather clears up .
