Hi all,
I was initially put off trying SH5 as my elderly pc couldn't deal with it, and then the feedback on the forums, at release, was so dismal, that there didn't seem much point. When last I read up on it, I was given to understand that the stock game had a different, and difficult targetting system, compared with SH3 and 4. Now that the mods have matured, is it possible to play SH5 (modded) so that in torpedo targetting terms, it's basically SH3 with better graphics. if not, how does it differ? If so, I'd be eternally grateful if someone could point me towards the specific mods/sequence of JGSMing it so that it resembles SH3. Many thanks in advance, Fidd |

To answer your question: Yes. You can actually mod it so pretty much the entire interface is just like SH3
This mod will do that trick for you: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=166093 As to other ones, there are too many to mention, but for a good starting point, go here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=190656 And welcome aboard! ![]()
