Hi to everyone!
I would like to try and mod SH V and found some JGSME 2.6, but it would not install as it was said here on the site in instructions...Only thing i could do is to put (from the downloaded zip file) folder MOD in my game folder manually and JGSME.exe from that zip is executable for application, not the installation... However, i managed to get it running, foun a few mods and it seemed that in installed them but when i run the game i do not see or hear any changes... Also on the official JGSME site there is no download link... How do i know if mod is properly installed? Only thing i managed to get working was TDWs UI 0.2.0 and for nothing else i can'.t be sure taht it is working ( with even trying to start a new career and moddin while in port).. As for the TDWs 6.9.0 UI package which i found here on this forum, i try and isntall all 12 indicidual mods as said here as last post http://174.123.69.202/~subsimc/radio...d.php?t=193345 and like one big mod but nothing changes in the game when i start it up again... What am i doing the wrong way? I have SH V 1.2 Tnx in advance for your replies and wish u calm seas and good hunting! |

run the JSGME mod validator app found in \data\Applications. It will tell you if you installed your mods correctly or not.

It sounds like you have not installed some of the mods correctly.
Ensure that you look inside the folder after you unzip it and the first folder you should see is a "data" folder. If not, dig deeper in until you do find the data folder. Always install the folder above. See this vid here http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...7&postcount=26 You can also look here for some info - http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=190656 ![]() |

Thank you both for your advice, it seems that it helped
![]() Yes, it was the "folder/subfolder data" problem! When i validated mods, everything said that it installed correctly, however there is a long list of conflicting mods...will that affect the game? also...in JGSME when my mods are now installed on the righs side window, some of them are black and some are gray...what does that mean? thank you once more! |
