Newbie to SH5 Mods

Hi, I purchased SH5 , over a year ago, but haven't played it due it's problems.

Reviewing the 'mods forums' has lead me to believe that with the right mods it'll be a damn good game/sim.

My question is, what Mods should I install as a bare minimum, thanks.

I'm concerned with the AI, crew morale/behaviour, grpahics/sound and a better, longer campaign.

Also, I heard the game can be played offline now without the dreaded DRM, with local gamesaves to my hard drive rather than somewhere in the ether.
