Default Neutrino experiment repeat at Cern finds same result

Quote:
The collaboration behind the finding in September that neutrinos may travel faster than light has carried out an improved version of their experiment - and found the same result.
If confirmed by other experiments, the find could undermine one of the basic principles of modern physics.

Could we be witnessing a new era in particle physics, or another "fluke" (although particle physics doesn't allow "flukes")

What is needed now is verification from an institute using different installations and experts. Which - I do not know - may be difficult, due to the size of and equipment used in CERN.

But this could indeed already indicate the beginning of a paradigm change. Which is nothing small. But still, scepticism is a virtue. More verification is needed.
