Neutrino experiment repeat at Cern finds same result

Could we be witnessing a new era in particle physics, or another "fluke" (although particle physics doesn't allow "flukes") |
:hmmm:
Fingers crossed that this isn't a fluke. :yep: |
What is needed now is verification from an institute using different installations and experts. Which - I do not know - may be difficult, due to the size of and equipment used in CERN.
But this could indeed already indicate the beginning of a paradigm change. Which is nothing small. But still, scepticism is a virtue. More verification is needed. "The truth, as always, will be far stranger." - Arthur C. Clarke. |
