In JSGME, when I've moved Mods from the "Available Mod" section to the Activated Mods section, some become grayed font as opposed to being black font. I know that I've received a message that there was some conflict with another Mod.
What does the gray mean? - That the Mod is not Working? - That the mod is in conflict with another but is still working? - Something Else? Gracias |

When an activated mod is shown in grey, it means that another mod you enabled after it overwrote a file or files that the grey mod added or already changed.
This may or may not mean you have a conflict depending on the mods and the files involved. Some mods are designed to work "on top" of other mods, and the changes they make are not a problem. Sometimes the file that overwrites a previous mod's version is one that will work just as well as the one the other mod put in. Generally if you get a message about a possible conflict when enabling a mod, and you were not expecting it or are not familiar enough with the files that are being overwritten to know that it's not a problem, it's always best to make a note of which files are involved and then back out of the process and investigate further. |
