Grayed Lines on on JSGME

In JSGME, when I've moved Mods from the "Available Mod" section to the Activated Mods section, some become grayed font as opposed to being black font. I know that I've received a message that there was some conflict with another Mod.

What does the gray mean?
- That the Mod is not Working?
- That the mod is in conflict with another but is still working?
- Something Else?

Gracias

When an activated mod is shown in grey, it means that another mod you enabled after it overwrote a file or files that the grey mod added or already changed.

This may or may not mean you have a conflict depending on the mods and the files involved. Some mods are designed to work "on top" of other mods, and the changes they make are not a problem. Sometimes the file that overwrites a previous mod's version is one that will work just as well as the one the other mod put in.

Generally if you get a message about a possible conflict when enabling a mod, and you were not expecting it or are not familiar enough with the files that are being overwritten to know that it's not a problem, it's always best to make a note of which files are involved and then back out of the process and investigate further.
