How to export submarine 3d model from game?

Open the .dat file for the sub you want within s3d, locate the node for the part of the sub you want to export (hull, planes etc...) and right click, hit export, you will get a .obj file with its corresponding .mtl file.

You will have to export each individual bit of the sub and reassemble them in your chosen 3d app.

Oh i did that once. Tried to make better UV Maps for the VIIC Boat. But some of the faces were invisible and wrong. So the exported model didn't worked of course AFTER all that work.

What program is about to open DAT file?
I have Z modeler and he cant open dat file.

You need a 3d Program like 3ds Max , Milkshape or Blender to open an OBJ File.
